WU- What's good homie? How's life in the fast pace relax lane mayne? JS- Im doing really good y0.. I cant say I have any complaints currently.. im having the best time of mi life right now! WU- Dam bro, so every time I turn around your into a different mix. What's up with the radio (I CHANGED THIS FROM PODCAST 2 RADIO SHOW.. K?) show? What can a listener expect to tune in and find? JS- Well the people can check us on the Underground Music Station KUMS.FM... My brother Tofu and I have a radio show called The SnT Radio Show... We started this idea a few years ago and finally got it up and going wit J Intell... Now we have a few different shows like The 2 Blee Blunt Show, The Gantana Show, Entitee show, Jay Melody show, and The Hooka Man... All the shows are VERY different and Very Entertaining!! WU- Is see your representing New 916 Alliance. I know that's a peace movement. How did that come about? Can your boy get some details? I'm a peaceful dude too! JS-The New 916 Alliance consist of a collective of artists in Sacramento that are all down for the same cause.. keeping the peace! It currently consists of myself, Doey Rock, Sumthin Terrible, Marveless, Floss, Shoat Stop, Righteous Movement, B Smoove, Mahte Bush, Mr., Chuck T, Bueno, Chase, Liq, Dezit Eaze, Bloe, Skrillz, Omeeze, Junebug Slim, T Nutty, Lil Retro, Hollow Tip, Big Slep Rock, Smigg Dirtee, Matt Cali, J Gib and Tone Malone. Its more of a Movement than any thing. Some of us have reached out to the community and youth, spreading awareness about Stopping the Violence. WU- We all know you stay in lab. What's cooking right now? What's shaking with the new projects? Whats next 2 hit the street? JS-Im finishing my new album called "Synth City". The concept and marketing campaign is bananas y0. Its my 1st real album. I get to pick all my songs and all the beats I wanna use. The reason why I say that is kuz my last album "The Resume" (go get it on Itunes now!) is pretty much a collective of beats I did for other artists, put into one project. The Resume featured T.I., Young Buck, Snoop, Mac Dre, Keak, B Legit, Turf Talk, etc. I loved the project but my new album, "Synth City" is my baby! I got my Sacramento heads all over it like Righteous Movement, Dezit Eaze, Life Team, The 916 Alliance, T Nutty, Sumthin Terrible, Cali O, The Watch, etc. I also got folks like E40, Mistah FAB, San Quinn, The Federation, Mob Figgaz, Bullys wit Fullys, etc. Its gonna be really major and im really excited about it. Oh and I just completed my new Mixtape with Skurge called "Dub Sac". Its all Dub Step music. A lot of us Junglist kind of converted. WU- For some who are unfamiliar, what is Dub Step and Jungle? JS-A lot of people don't know about Dub Step or Jungle but I plan on opening a lot of minds with this Mixtape. The music is in the "Electronic Music" genre and if you don't know about me, so am I. But lately I've been so much into the Hip Hop / Rap scene, I felt it was time to give back to the Electronic scene (Jungle / Drum & Bass / Dub Step) and at the same time stimulate the Hip Hop heads also. Well Dub Step is the perfect way. Both Jungle and Dub Step have heavy ass basslines and big drums! So far everyone who has heard the prototype be buggin out. Saying shit like, "What the fuck is this shit?" or "I like this kuz I cant tell what city it came from". A lot of us Junglist have either juggled back and forth between the both or have completely crossed over to Dub Step. WU- Many would agree Sac has tremendous talent and some of the best hip-hop on a national level (in my opinion). What's lacking? What do you think is keeping lil ol Sac from being that next spot on the map with its Hip-hop? JS-Unity is what Sacramento is lacking. We all need to come together a lot more often. I try my best in doing that. I try to work at least one time with every talented person I run into out here. That's probably where the title Sac King of Beats started. Every neighborhood, every race, any genre, any topic, I will have a beat ready! WU- So let's get off the music subject for minute. What's up with the skate boards? How you long you been skateboarding and what poppin with under Managed Skate Boards? JS-I've been skating since I was about 8. I love skateboarding! I don't really do a lot these days. And these kids are WAY to good to even compete with. That's why I started the skate team. Its main focus right now is finding and helping out skaters who deserve good sponsorship. We give our skaters their own Skateboards, Shirts, Hats and geat. Be on the look out for that Team 91Sicks Skate Video also!!! WU- Damn Bra....before I forget. Congrats on the Sammie nomination!! Way to put in the work! How's it feel? Is this you're first year nominated? JS-I have to admit it feels good. People voted me in. That's hot! heh. It actually isn't the 1st year. My group Righteous Movement have been in the Sammies 2 years now I wanna say. But as far as me as a solo artists, then yeh, its my 1st time. Its also their 1st time having a producer catergory. WU- Forgive for asking..but umm..whats the Konkrete Jungle Sacramental all about? JS-Konkrete Jungle is a world famous club that started in New York. Its now branched off to pretty much every major city you can think of. Well now its here in Sacramento. My partner Jay Two Zen and I put this together to give back to our Jungle / Dubstep Community! It's a pretty big deal. We all ready got covered in the Sac News and Review and also with News 10. Tofu and I headlined the 1st show and 6 Blocc aka R.A.W. headlined the 2nd. Check out myspace.com/konkretejungle916 WU- Where can we go pick up the mix tape? JS-Just log on to my myspace or google me WU-So there is no doubt your resume stretches around the block! Who are some folks you'd like to add to that resume? JS-Portishead, Hi Tech, Dillinja, Timberland, Dom, Dr. Dre, Neptunes, Alchemest, Swiss, Sneaker Pimps.. yeh WU- Aight loco! Any last words, shout outs, fuck you's, Ect. ADD ME 2 YOUR MYSPACE AND TWITTER!!!!
