WU- So from what I see you stay busy. You just droped another album right?
Can you tell us what its called and a little about the prouduction
and who had a hand in it?

SEVIN- yeah, i got this new rekord available kalled "STR8 FRUM THA DRAGONZ MOUTH". itz deep. i got alot of people involved as far as production. synthesis, epik, emotional and others. aint to many features, mabey 1 or 2.


WU- What would you say is the differance between this album and the last one?

SEVIN- This one iz 4 everyone who iz sik of tha same ol' "tear tha klub up", "trik ya money off", commercialized garbage. this album iz a real nigga, speakin real truth about real circumstances and situationz. itz turf muzik, blokk anthemz, hood storiez, and ghetto symphoniez all in one.
everyone haz been sayin that itz my best work yet.

WU- Do you feel like you grow or change as man/person from project to project?
and if so, in what way and what kind of impact do you notice it having on your music?

SEVIN- absolutely...i grow az a man everyday wit out muzik. so of koarse my muzik iz gonna grow wit me. i think in termz on how it affectz my muzik, it keepz it grounded. it keepz me from bekoming what i hate most. "commercialized, industry, slavez." i remember that itz my responsibility to guide my audience to the light, not to the darkness.


WU- On your mysapce Bio you say you make music that elightens rappers and people. What do
you mean by that ?

SEVIN- i make the kind of muzik that kan change your lyfe. it haz substance, pain, depth, wisdom , and most of all, GOD involved in it. i garantee that it will git you thinkin about no only yourself, but your surroundingz and your destiny az well. the problem iz, most people have bekome to the most ignorant, degrading, and destructive messagez and konceptz.


WU- You also say your a Christan man, not a christian rapper. Whats the differance?

SEVIN- i am a christian man. i fokuz on that first. bekuz of that, HE inhabits every aspekt of my life. i just happen to rap. so you kan find him there to. but i dont just make muzik about that. i make all kindz of muzik, keeping in mind who i belong to and the mission that HE has for me. turn my mic off, burn down tha stage, break my cd'z...what would that change? nothing im tha same wit or wit out it. thatz why i say that.


WU- How do you see the rap game as a whole.With the new year here do you see the industry/game going
in a certin direction for the better or for the worse?

SEVIN- itz over for tha real niggaz, period. unless we all kome togetha and do our own thang, itz a wrap. tha game dont evin encourage you to be real...im through wit it personaly. it aint evin somethin i want to be apart of. theze niggaz make me sik. the problem iz the masses that buy into theze liez, that support this garbage. we now live in a society where people wanna dance instead of learn. we wanna be rich instead of wealthy. and az blak people, we dont have that luxury. we kan afford ignorance, we kant afford to be in tha klub more than we are in a book or with our children or on our job. we have an enemy that iz winning. and look who iz speaking for us. " lil' wayne....souljah boi....game...." we deserve better than this.... but we kant see that. obama didnt get into the white house poppin champaign, skeetin on hoez, flippin birdz, none of that. i just hope tha youth realizes that.


WU- What kind of role do you see technology play in the music industry? with the internet & MP3 its
harder to hustle the actual CD but easier to get exposure. What do you think?

SEVIN- i think itz good and bad....good if you kan afford to keep up with it, bad if you kant. me personaly...i made more money on tha street than tha web....but for some itz the other way around....i think it waterz down and oversaturatez the game majorly though. people dont have to pay attention to their own bakyard anymore, the underground iz bekoming commercial.


WU- The two terms Rap & Hip-Hop..is there a differance between the two ?

SEVIN- hip hop iz the kulture, rap iz just one of the results of that kulture. that like saying is the internet different from computer technology. itz one that created the other. rap (used to) be the vioce of that kulture.
