Breif History:
I am 24 years old, an old soul in a young person's body. I am from Kalamazoo, Michigan but lived in Sacramento most of my life. I have been spitting that Yoshi fire for about 8 years now. My music started out with me and my boys D Fos, Tre Mak, and Rob Cole. We formed a group called Point Blank and put out our first group album called The Takeover in 2003. A few years after that, I began working on my solo project and meet up with my production company Grind Hard Entertainment. I worked with various artists who include the Federation, Brotha Lynch, and Doey Rock just to name a few. My project will be coming out in the summer of 2008 which will be titled Success is the Best Revenge.

WU: Where did the name come from?

K: One of my friends in High School came across the word critical when we were looking in the dictionary. The meaning of the word is related to how I am. I am serious about everything I put my heart into. Everybody started calling me Krytykal and the name just stuck with me. I wanted to be unique and different in the way I spell my name. I thought that the original way to spell critical was stale, and that's how I ended up with spelling my name Krytykal.

WU: You have a certain pain in your voice. Where does that pain come from?

K: The pain comes from going through a lot of bullshit in my life.

WU: Describe the perfect female?

K: Most of the time looks is what attracts you to a female but in my eye a woman that's down through thick and thin, basically a woman with a backbone that keeps it real with you and don't be on no bullshit is the perfect female.

WU: We have a lot of youngstas that view the site. What's something you can tell em about that game they should be aware of if they pursue this as a career.....

K: They should keep there eye on the prize for whatever goals they try to make in this business. If you're trying to get a deal, make sure you know what you're signing before you sign it because there's a lot of snakes slithering out here. Stay true to yourself and follow your first instinct. If something don't seem right, its probably not right. SUCCESS IS ALWAYS THE BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WU: Any lasy words...

K: Big shout outs to my boy A.R.A.B. and WestUp for the interview and Grind Hard ENT for makin it happen. I also want to thank God for giving me my talent, to my boy Lupe, my grandpa, and Toyia R.I.P.
