WU- Whats good homie? Can you do us a favor and introduce your self and where your from?

ALFARO- sup homie!! well my name is freddy alfaro but alot of people know me by "ALFARO" i was born in central america(Nicaragua)..but i move to the US @ the age of 6 to san jose california!..but know i leave in Los Banos California

WU- So, when and how did u first get started as an artist?

ALFARO- Man!! well I started 17 years ago. I saw this dude @ the swap meet(fleet Market) he was airbrushing, I asked the dude were can I get one of those things? Didn't even know the name. Man! .Homie acted like it was a top secret weapon he didn't want to tell me anything. so I when to my local art store to find out if they had one.i did find one, bought it and practiced a lot. At the time there were no classes or anything around my area so everything was trial and error. and the rest is history

WU- what kind of mediums do you work in and which is your favorite?

ALFARO- My favorite medium? Well of course airbrush!But I been doing alot of digital illustration with illustrator and photoshop I really enjoy digital work..soon I'll be doing tattoos so look out for that!

WU- When you first got started were ther any artist you looked up to?

ALFARO- When I started airbrushing there were a few kats that inspire me..but now people I look up too??..of course my homie Fonzy!! cool kat..and the master..Mr OG ABEL..homeboy is one crazy artist!!..

WU- So what kind of stuff do you have planned for 09?

ALFARO- Damm! 2009 is going to be a busy year for me..to many projects..i have SYNICAL BRAND that I'm relauching this summer.Also I have my line of skateboards decks,and other projects the I'm keeping them on the down low..for now. ;)

WU- Any advice for those artist looking to break out of one meduim to an other?

ALFARO-Just be your self, don't give up on any projects..and practice,practice,practice..
